There are direct bus connections between Konstanz central station and the university. The easiest connetions are with lines 9A and 9B. Taking two different routes, these buses stop at the main entrance of the university. Bus tickets can either be purchased in the bus or at the ticket machines at several bus stops. However, if you stay in a hotel you can ask at the reception desk for a "Kurkarte", which can be used as a free bus ticket.
