Kursbeschreibung:

In diesem Kurs werden ausgewählte pragmatische Aspekte der linguistischen Bedeutung genauer untersucht. Zunächst werden Präsuppositionen und das damit verbundene Projektionsproblem vorgestellt und verschiedene Lösungsansätze für dieses Phänomen verglichen. Danach lernen wir die Grundbegriffe von Referenz kennen. Dazu gehören Deixis, die Unterscheidung zwischen definiten und indefiniten Nominalphrasen und das so genannte "entity-tracking" im Diskurs. Schließlich betrachten wir konventionelle Implikaturen und Ausdrucksbedeutung.
